Our Events - The Country Christmas Shoppe

Thank you to all our customers for supporting us throughout the year, especially during the holiday season!

We will be closing Christmas Eve after 4 pm (because Santa will be here 1 - 4 pm) when our last visitors have gone home to get ready for the big day.

Then we will take a couple of days off, (probably sleeping alot) then begin the long task of doing inventory. Once inventory is done, maybe another day or two off, then we go to the major gift show to order new merchandise for next Christmas.

We will re open Wednesday February8th and shortly after, new Spring merchandise willl begin to arrive.

We will have them available for purchase on Wednesday, November 30th! Still the same amazing price of just $29.00 (plus tax) for ANY size. From 6 feet and up!

Hurry in if you are in search of a tall, beautiful tree that will not lose its needles and has a smell to get you into the Christmas mood. We have 100 and they won't last too long!

Our past customers praise our trees on how the needles won't fall off. But be sure to water them ALOT during the first few days. They will then be ready to last you a long time!

If you decorate with an artificial tree... (because you love Christmas and leave your tree up for a very long time to enjoy the spirit of the season) be sure to come out and see our Balsam Trees to enjoy the natural smell, and just wander around to get the true feeling of Christmas. (Bring a thermos of hot chocolate to really enjoy the experience!)

Our Christmas light display is done. So if you are out for a drive on Friday or Saturday night in December come our way! You won't be disappointed. They are on from 4 pm to approximately 9 pm.

Remember...Santa will be here every Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 4 pm in December.
So bring your camera for some amazing photo opportunities!

Starting December 2nd, our wonderful display of Christmas lights will be on from 4 pm to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday nights!Bring the family for an evening drive, and you will be amazed!

We now know when Santa is going to be visiting at "The Country Christmas Shoppe!"

He took time from his busy schedule to let us know his plans. We are very lucky this year as he is going to be around on Christmas Eve too! He said he would make special plans to be here until he absolutely has to leave to make the special trip to all the good boys and girls.

He will be here every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 pm, right up to Christmas Eve. He will be wandering the property, and enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds of the season.

So..that means December 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, and 24th he will be here. So bring your camera to take a very special photo. ( Remember to check your batteries!)

Star and Spirit eat special reindeer food, but you can bring apples or carrots for the horses and rabbits. They love treats too!

Come and meet our newest members to the family!
Peppy is a wonderful, friendly, Donkey. He loves apples, carrots, and even bread!

Olivia is a beautiful miniature horse. She is a little more fussy than Peppy. She won't eat bread!

We are more than just Christmas! Tree faces, statues, windy wings, plaques, wedding items, anniversary items... just to name a few.

On February 24th, 2011, Spirit and Star lost both their antlers! But don't worry, they are growing back, and they already bigger than they were last year!

Star lost her first antler on February 3rd, and managed to keep just one until the 24th when she knocked the other one off. Then Spirit decided to rub and scratch her antlers in the trees, and got both of them off in the same afternoon! Guess they were itchy.

New pictures will go on to show the progress, they grow fast! They are covered in a nice and soft velvet.

The first few days of September, their velvet was in the process of coming off. Once it came off, the wonderful white antlers were underneath.

Not long after, their winter coat was starting to regrow. They have to be prepared for the cold winter weather!

Be sure to check out the events page for special times and dates. (like when Santa arrives, when trees arrive, the date and times for the light show, etc.)

On certain days in the month of December, Santa comes to check on the reindeer and visit with all the children (young and old!) .

Last year, Santa arrived on Sunday December 5th, 2010. He was wandering the grounds, chatting with everyone and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere from 1 pm to 4 pm. Then he was here on December 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th 1 p.m.to 4 p.m. Remember to always bring your camera for a fantastic photo opportunity!

Our family grown Balsam trees arrived November 29th! Pre-cut for your convenience, they are 6 feet and up, your choice. Which one will you to choose to decorate your home? They are still only $29.00, and the most beautiful tree you will ever find. Balsam trees hold their needles for a long time, and are the perfect choice for the best tree ever!

We had the most amazing light and sound displays. Every building had lights, and quite a few moving decorations too. Check the events page in December to find out date and times for you come and view the best light display around. Even the fences along the driveway have lights! Best way to let Santa see where we are. (We can be seen from way up high in the sky.)

Our rabbit family has been added to. Caramel (a lop eared bunny) has joined Buterscotch (another lop eared bunny) at The Bunny Hop Inn. Mr. Bella and Clover have gone to the warm barn for the winter, but will be back as soon as the weather is warm enough for them to be outside.

Spirit and Star enjoyed a little holiday too. They enjoyed the snow, but are now looking forward to seeing everyone again!
